The Rashed Al Rashed and Sons Group was founded as a building materials trading business in 1950.

Based on the success of trading building material, the company soon diversified into associated businesses and became an integrated conglomerate of Trading, Manufacturing and Services businesses. 

The success of the conglomerated businesses lead to the establishment of a Real Estate Division that develops land and property within and outside of Saudi Arabia.  An Investment Division has also been formed to invest in many business ventures both globally and regionally and has grown to a sizeable and recognized investor.
